Industrial Mechanic - Evening Shift

Your Responsibilities

As an Industrial Mechanic, you’ll be at the heart of our production operations, handling both preventive maintenance (50%) and corrective maintenance (50%) of our equipment.

Specifically, you will:

• Diagnose mechanical failures and perform efficient, timely repairs.
• Carry out planned maintenance to prevent downtime.
• Work with hydraulic, pneumatic, and motorized systems.
• Service a variety of equipment: conveyors, shredders, chainmeel, pumps, motors.
• Perform welding tasks (MIG, arc) as part of repairs or modifications.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical blueprints.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of equipment reliability and performance.
• Follow and promote health, safety, and quality standards.

What We’re Looking For

• Diploma in Industrial Mechanics (DEP) or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Experience with conveyors, shredders, chainmeel systems (major asset).
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex mechanical problems independently.
• Rigorous, proactive, and a team player.
• Comfortable working evening shifts in a small team.
• Asset: experience in machining (milling/lathe – conventional).
