Your Responsibilities as Senior Industrial Mechanic:

  • Identify and implement initiatives to improve equipment reliability and optimize maintenance processes.
  • Ensure communication with the team members for planning and organizing tasks.
  • Work collaboratively with the production department to anticipate maintenance needs and ensure production continuity.
  • Ensure the use of safe working methods and promote a safety culture.
  • Read plans, diagrams, and schematics to determine the appropriate procedures.
  • Install, align, dismantle, and move industrial machinery using manual and electric tools.
  • Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts.
  • Assemble machinery and equipment using manual and electric tools and welding equipment.
  • Clean, lubricate, and perform routine maintenance on machinery.

The ideal candidate has:

  • Ten (10) years of experience in industrial mechanics or a similar role.
  • Ability to communicate fluently in French and read English.
  • Vocational diploma or college degree in Industrial Mechanics or Maintenance Mechanic, or other relevant experience.
  • Welding experience is an asset.
  • Ability to identify inefficiencies and propose improvement solutions.
  • Ability to motivate a team and demonstrate leadership.
  • Knowledge of relevant safety standards.
  • Proficiency in basic computer tools and internal systems.
