  • Perform analytical chemistry analyzes using various techniques and devices (ICP, XRF, Leco, etc.).
  • Evaluate the results compliance according to the specifications.
  • Communicate analyzes results and report any deviations from the specifications.
  • Participate as an expert in the drafting and implementation of new methods and/or instruments/trainings.
  • Prepare necessary samples, solutions and standards for the analyzes.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and calibrate the analytical instruments of the lab equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Ensure that safety guidelines are adhered to by following SOP, GLP and other procedures/rules in place in the company.
  • Perform any other assigned tasks.


  • College Degree in Analytical Chemistry, bachelor’s degree in chemistry or any related fields.
  • Relevant experience in a quality control analysis laboratory.
  • Knowledge of metal analysis – Asset.
  • Computer skills.
  • Bilingual (English/French), spoken and written.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Responsible and meticulous – able to maintain a good productivity and quality level at work.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret results and raw data.
  • Ability to work autonomously and to take initiative.


  • Permanent full-time position, Monday to Thursday from 6:30 a.m. to 3.30 p.m, and Friday from 6:30 to 12:30 pm.
